NATURAL AND NUTRITIOUS: The main ingredient in the Farmina dog food is meat, which is the natural food for carnivores and most digestible. From 64% to 80% according to the specific range, is meat. 90% to 98% of protein according to the different ranges is from meat, which is the most digestible and actually absorbed. This is what builds muscle bulk as against just adding fat as carbohydrates do. It is totally GMO free. There are no bad grains like corn. The only range that has grains (Ancestral Grain range) has good grains, 10% oats and 10% spelt. The meat/ animal content are from natural sources – not badly farmed sources. The chicken is free range chicken, the Ocean product uses wild caught cod from the Northern Scandinavian waters, Wild Boar uses precisely what the name says –wild boar from Tuscany and Umbria, New Zealand lamb is totally free range grass fed. And the products are single proteins so easy to do elimination diet if there is a food allergy to a specific animal protein and indeed most are what is called novel proteins, not proteins that dogs would previously have been using. To this are added vitamins and minerals through careful selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.
